Shopping for a new car isn’t easy, especially if you’re looking for an affordable vehicle that provides great value.

Fortunately for buyers, a recently published guide from Cars.com revealed eight vehicles received top honors as the best-value new cars for 2026.

The methodology for each winning vehicle factored in its starting price, standard features, fuel economy and annual fuel costs. Two cars, including the Toyota Corolla Hybrid LE and Chevrolet Trax LS, stand out for having starting prices well under $30,000 to accommodate buyers' budgets.
