Don’t despair if international travel is financially out of pocket this summer. There are plenty of popular U.S. cities worth visiting that won’t break the bank.

A new study from Dollar Flight Club analyzed the most affordable domestic destinations for cheap flights in summer 2026. Despite the shutdown of low-cost airline Spirit Airlines, budget travelers can still find inexpensive airfare in 10 major U.S. cities. Three Florida hotspots ranked in the top 10, including Fort Lauderdale taking first place, Orlando landing in second and Miami in eighth.

These 10 cities also reflect travel spanning many U.S. regions. Southern, Midwestern and East Coast cities are sprinkled throughout the ranking. The West Coast is the only noticeably absent region with Dollar Flight Club stating round-trip costs to major destinations like Los Angeles and San Francisco averaged from $335 to $373.
