I'm a Dermatologist: These 5 Beauty Buys From Costco Have Fabulous Results

Skincare costs can add up quickly, but Costco has high-quality skincare for a fraction of the price you would pay at other retailers. Whether you’re looking for moisturizers, wrinkle correction or just healthier skin overall, Costco’s the place to go.
To zero in on the best picks, we talked with Viktoryia Kazlouskaya, MD, Ph.D., a medical and cosmetic dermatologist with Dermatology Circle, and Avery Dinallo, DNP, the CEO and co-founder of Allme Health, to narrow down Costco’s choices to the top five.

Deciding what skincare to invest in can be overwhelming, but Dinallo keeps it simple: “Skincare doesn’t need to be expensive to be effective,” she said. “If you have a good cleansing soap, a gentle moisturizer, vitamin C, retinol and sunscreen, your skin will be protected, glowing and ready for your next Costco haul.”

Dove Moisturizing Beauty Bar Soap Original
Price: $17.49
For gentle cleansing, Dinallo stands by a classic. At Costco, you can grab a 16-bar pack of Dove Moisturizing Beauty Bar Soap for $17.49 — that’s just $1.09 per bar.
“These are great for those who need simple, sensitive skincare and want an effective wash and moisturizer combo that’s good for their entire body but also doesn’t cost an arm and a leg," Dinallo said.
CeraVe Moisturizing Cream Interchangeable Multi-Pack
Price: $23.99
Both dermatologists we spoke to recommended the CeraVe Moisturizing Cream. Kazlouskaya recommends it for dry skin, especially during cold weather. She said that it’s packed with ceramides and ideal for those with sensitive skin and eczema. Dinallo added that the pump actually gets all of the lotion out.
Perricone MD Vitamin C Ester Brightening Serum
Price: $64.99
This is the priciest item on the list, but compared to the company’s price of $150, you’re actually getting a really good deal on a great serum. The Perricone MD Vitamin C Ester Brightening Serum brightens skin while smoothing lines and minimizing discoloration.
RoC Retinol Correction Max Hydration Cream
Price: $49.99
Kazlouskaya said the RoC Retinol Correction Max Hydration Cream is one of the best retinols out there for wrinkle treatment and prevention. Costco offers a two-pack (1.7-ounce and 3.4-ounce jars) that will give you firmer skin and fewer wrinkles. A 1.7-ounce jar from other retailers is $28, so you’re getting three times the product for less than twice the price.
Vacation Classic Sunscreen Lotion
Price: $21.99
Dinallo said she loves the smell of Vacation. With SPF 50, it protects your skin from the sun and is oxybenzone and octinoxate-free. For $21.99, you’ll get two 6-ounce bottles of Vacation Classic Sunscreen Lotion — that’s twice what you would get for the same price at other retailers!
