When you think of Costco, you might assume that getting a membership is only for families. However, Costco has some great deals beyond the bulk packaging that might make you rethink getting a membership.

You’re always going to need batteries, and you can get them for a great deal at Costco.

“If your house is full of remotes, clocks, flashlights, game controllers or children's toys, you will have these when something stops working,” Noam Korbl said.

A 48-pack of Target’s store band batteries costs $29.99. At Costco, you can get the same pack from their Kirkland brand for $16.99.

  • Price: $219.99

Scott Davis said he bought the Ninja SLUSHi Professional Frozen Drink Maker "on impulse because I thought it was cool to make smooth slushies and other iced drinks that taste like they are made at a boba shop or restaurant without having to dedicate extra fridge space for storing prepackaged slushie mixes and bags of ice.”

Davis said it’d be perfect for someone living on their own or for a couple because it doesn’t take up a lot of space.

The RAPID-OFF Fire Blanket not only could save your life; you can get a great deal for it at Costco.

Dmitrii Malashkin recommended this specifically for a smaller household.

“People living in small dwellings as first-time renters tend to think that their only option in case of a fire emergency is using a fire extinguisher, and they either never learn how to properly use it, or they forget to keep track of the expiration dates," he said. "Unlike fire extinguishers, these fire blankets require no upkeep, instantly unroll, and can smother any pan or microwave fire hassle-free (and that's important in confined spaces).”

  • Price: $23.99

Even if you don’t have a baby, Malashkin said stocking up on baby wipes isn’t a bad idea.

"We've learned that these all-purpose cleaners are a must-have," he said. "They make excellent long-term backups when you're out of options trying to figure out how to be clean and sanitized with no water or running water after a plumbing emergency.”

  • Price: $16.99

“We personally love getting trail mix from Costco, and buy multiple bags every single time we go there,” Cameron Allen said. "They are great holdover items to have inside the house in case we are lazy and don't want to cook a full meal.”
