  • Estimated Price: $2,000

The 1909-S Indian Head penny was the lowest mintage of the Indian Head penny series. 1909 was the last year this penny was minted. This coin is popular among collectors because it is one of only two in the series struck at the San Francisco Mint. If you find one of these pennies in your wallet, it could be worth thousands.

  • Estimated Price: $4,500

The 1922 D Wheat penny is one of the most common dates in the 1920s. The value of this penny comes from where it was minted. Most 1922 D Wheat pennies were minted in Philadelphia or San Francisco, making them valuable to collectors. Check your wallet for this coin. You might be able to cash out.

  • Estimated Price: $25,000

If you see a coin with an eagle on it, you might be in for a payday. The 1856 Flying Eagle penny is extremely rare, with only 2,000 minted. These pennies were originally created as presentation pieces for members of Congress. If you find a 1856 or even a 1858 Flying Eagle penny, it is likely worth thousands.

The 1932 S Washington quarter has the lowest mintage in the entire series, with just over 400,000 pieces minted in San Francisco. The first year of the series is sought after by collectors. Even poor-condition 1932 S Washington quarters can get you a crisp $100.
