Egg prices may have dropped, but savvy shoppers haven’t stopped price matching for the best deals.

Cage-free white eggs are available at Walmart for $1.67. On the flip side, Aldi’s Goldhen eggs are closer to $2 and priced at $1.85 for a dozen.

Need milk? Pick up Great Value Vitamin D milk for $3.46 per gallon.

Aldi’s Friendly Farms whole milk is on sale right now for $3.65, which appears to be a good deal at first glance. But even with the 3% discount and considering the milk’s regular price ($3.75), it’s still more than what you’d pay at Walmart.

Great Value’s oven roasted pre-sliced turkey breast is $3.57 for a nine-ounce container, versus Lunch Mate’s $3.75 pricing for the same amount of turkey.

Don’t overlook frozen potatoes for substantial savings. After comparing two bags of frozen shredded hash browns – Great Value versus Season’s Choice – the former emerged the triumphant, more affordable victor at $3.42.

The Season’s Choice potatoes retail for $4.09 at Aldi, resulting in Walmart shoppers saving 67 cents.

A simple carton of vanilla bean ice cream can be found at Walmart for under $3. The Great Value brand is priced at $2.97 compared to $3.25 for Aldi’s Sundae Shoppe.
