Meet this week’s key players

Outrageous escalation continued as Misha (#413) struck gold under a ping-pong table. Jeremy (#991) became the talk of Beast Games after somehow persuading 103 people to hand over their coins — seriously. Julie (#696) went from tossing toys for rescue pups to nailing a game-winning throw that earned her a golden ticket to paradise. And Deano (#380)? The guy who famously turned down a million bucks in the last episode? His loyalty finally paid off with a helicopter ride to Beast Island.

Six seats and a dream: Misha’s lucky day

The episode kicked off with the first helicopter taking six lucky players to Beast Island. For the next helicopter, contestants had a chance to find one hidden golden ticket, and chaos ensued as Beast City was turned upside down. The golden ticket? Duct-taped under a random outdoor ping-pong table. Misha (#413) snagged it and chose five teammates: #453, #245, #494, Deano (#380), and #566. Deano, remember, was one of the four captains who previously turned down $1 million to save his team – looks like what goes around continues to come back around in Beast Games!

Blind luck and perfect timing

In Helicopter 3’s challenge, contestants were blindfolded and had to drop a red ball as close to 10 minutes as possible without going over. The tension was palpable—and made worse by contestant #976 sabotaging others when she dropped her ball early and decided to shout out random numbers to throw other contestants off their game. With adrenaline pumping, contestants started dropping as quickly as 4 minutes into the 10-minute timer. Time flies when you’re having fun, right?

When the dust settled, six contestants secured seats by dropping within three-tenths of a second of the timer running out! #672 nailed their drop and was the overall winner, dropping his ball with just over 0.1 seconds before the 10-minute timer went off. Could you do that at home? 🤔

Jeremy’s cult following

The challenge? Convince 100 out of 110 competitors to hand over their coins for a chance to fly to Beast Island. Jeremy (#991) stole the spotlight again as chants of his name filled the air. Despite some resistance, he pulled in 103 coins just in time. With a dramatic prayer and heartfelt (hilarious) thanks: “Lord, I am so grateful you’re using a donkey like me,” Jeremy picked his team, including #974 Gage and #831 Jeff.

The lone woman on Jeremy’s helicopter? #976, infamous for disrupting the blindfolded ball-drop game by shouting random numbers. Her antics paid off, but let’s just say that not everyone was thrilled about it.

Balance or bust

The stakes? Three helicopters to Beast Island. The challenge? Teams of six had to pass a glass ball on a flat plate across all teammates without breaking it 😬- the first three teams to do it won the coveted helicopter rides to Beast Island.

BUT

For those left behind, the pressure wasn’t over. A blindfolded challenge offered one golden helicopter ticket — but only if contestants stepped into a circle alone. Step in with someone else? You were out. After two women were eliminated in round one, #616 stayed calm, outsmarted the competition, and got the final spot.

Cash-out or climb up

One of the most dramatic moments of the episode came when contestants had to choose between continuing the competition, choosing to climb the tower on the left, or splitting $250,000 among those who opted out – climbing the tower on the right. Ultimately, 18 players decided to call it quits, splitting a cool $250,000 and walking away with $13,800 each.

The brave souls who chose the left tower were quickly faced with another test: a red ball toss down toward a golden briefcase below. Enter Julie (#696), our resident dog rescue owner, who proved that a lifetime of playing fetch with pups was the perfect training. She nailed her throw, landing her a ticket to Beast Island and the power to bring five others along for the ride.

Last call for paradise

The episode wrapped up with nine platforms, each holding six contestants. Teams had to choose one contestant to move on to the final helicopter. The other 5 teammates were to be left behind, ending their chance at the 5-million-dollar prize. Some groups resorted to mini-games like rock-paper-scissors to decide who could go. The pressure was on, because there were 9 teams, but only 6 seats on the helicopter! The three slowest teams to decide were sure to be eliminated altogether.

#817’s heartfelt willingness to sacrifice herself turned into an unexpected victory when her team sent her to the helicopter. It wasn’t until #817 walked up to the helicopter that she realized she was moving on – she thought she was voluntarily eliminating herself. The final decisions were gut-wrenching, and #797 claimed the last seat for Beast Island – stepping onto the platform just moments before the final 3 contestants, who were eliminated along with their teammates.

Welcome to Beast Island 🏖️

With 60 players left, the competition shifted to Beast Island, a tropical paradise loaded with surprises, including a PlayStation and ping-pong tables. Contestants were given a choice: compete for ownership of the island (valued at $1.8 million) or head to a secondary island to vie for the $5 million grand prize.

Nine brave souls chose to compete for the island in an epic game of hide-and-seek against Navy SEALs. The stakes? Win the island and stay in the game, or go home empty-handed. Can they outsmart the SEALs? The $1.8 million question remains: can you hide? 🎮

Key financial takeaway

Think outside the box (or under the ping-pong table). Sometimes, the most significant opportunities come from unexpected places – ask Misha, who found a golden ticket under a ping-pong table.

Whether discovering hidden opportunities like Misha or building valuable connections like Jeremy, success often comes to those willing to look in unconventional places.
