According to a survey by Tinuiti, 88% of Prime members plan to shop at Amazon's Prime Day event this year — that’s up from last year’s 81%.

The shift in dates comes at the right time for many. Americans have been hard on the wallet with the high cost of living and soaring gas prices, so it’s a good time to stock up on must-haves, according to Elisabella Ricca, a personal finance and consumer analyst at TopCashback.
"Moving Prime Day earlier could be a way to create a greater sense of urgency among shoppers,” she said. "By bumping the timing up, Amazon generates fresh buzz around the event and encourages consumers to start their summer spending sooner." There will be plenty of major deals to take advantage of, but here are the top seven items to buy according to experts.
